I use visual and time based media to create work that is situated at the intersection of place, identity, and culture as it relates to Black experiences particularly within the context of the African diaspora.

Issues of the past and future, memory, and cultural preservation are also central to my practice, as is incorporating visual culture with ethnographic research methods, investigating the dynamics between research and art, and archival practices as a form of resistance.
